The St Andrews Welly Ball is an unforgettable event, attended by over 2000 students from all over the UK. The evening features a sit-down black-tie dinner and an after-party filled with dancing and DJs, at the local venue of Kinkell Byre. All who attend are clad in an eclectic mix of black-tie dress and wellington boots.
All money raised from the event is donated directly to the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust. This charity raises awareness and support for young adults with mental health issues, and helps to fight the associated stigma which accompanies them. 2018 will be our 5th consecutive year working with CWMT, and we are grateful to all who help us support this wonderful cause.
Now in its 11th year, Welly Ball is the perfect mix of food, drink, music, and comfy shoes. Gone are the days of aching feet and blisters; instead, don your wellies and join us on the 10th November to party into the early hours of the morning!
The Welly Ball evening begins with the largest Black tie dinner in the St Andrews social calendar. Taking place at Kinkell Byre, a converted barn overlooking the stunning East Fife coast, the Welly Ball evening begins with 850 dinner guests donning black tie and wellies for a drinks reception and seated hog roast dinner.
Attending the dinner is an incredibly valuable way of raising much needed funds for our fantastic chosen charity for 2018, The Charlie Waller Memorial Trust.
Dinner tickets are obtained by ballot in tables of ten. Please find details of how to apply HERE.
The After Party sees an additional 1,150 guests arrive for dancing and DJ entertainment that extends into the early hours of the morning. Please find details of how to purchase an After Party ticket HERE.
